Carbs or No Carbs?

This has been so controversial but you do NEED carbs!  Why you ask, because carbs give you energy.  

  • Provide energy to fuel the body, including the brain, heart, and central nervous system.

  • Protect against disease by supplying many vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds called phytonutrients.

  • Control weight by providing fiber, which aids in digestion, lowers cholesterol, and stabilizes blood sugar.

 

But becareful because you need the right carbs.  For example, Quiona, Rice, Sweet and White potatoes.

For a long time, I believed that carbs were something to avoid at all costs. But as I embarked on my natural bodybuilding journey, I discovered the truth: carbohydrates are not the enemy—they're an essential source of fuel, especially when you choose the right kinds. By paying close attention to how my own body responds to different foods and how your body breaks it down, I learned to strike a balance that works for me. Now, I can genuinely enjoy those occasional indulgences—like pizza, pasta, and even the classic burger and fries—without guilt or regret.

It's never too late to learn how your body works or to make positive, lasting changes. My passion is helping others unlock this understanding, so you can nourish yourself well, savor your favorite foods, and truly flourish—at any age.
